Milford Automotive has been serving the local community for close to 30 years.

In 1983, George Burnham had the idea of starting his own business in auto repair. His love for working on vehicles started with the opening of his business in 1986 at its current location, 4400 Milford Mill Road, across from the Milford Mill Metro station. 

About Us

George Burnham Jr., George Burnham Sr. and his father all were raised in Pikesville.  All three lived and worked on the Alto Dale Farm (now Avolon just off beltway) where his father and grandfather managed all the farmland and maintained the property.  George Burnham Jr. started working on the farm at a young age until he was about 19 years old.

He then started working at a service station in Randallstown as a pump/cleanup attendent for 10 years eventually working his way up to junior tech and service manager. George is a graduate of Pikesville High School and Western Vocational & Diesel Institute of Maryland. George opened Milford Automotive Servicenter in 1986 in Pikesville, MD.

George is accompanied by his wife Laurie, who handles accounts payable and administrative responsibilities. 4 full-time automotive technicians and Service writers.
